Fees
As a result of chronic underfunding of General Practice over the past decade, many GPs across Australia have had to move to private billing for some or all consultations, as Medicare rebates are insufficient to maintain the high quality of healthcare that patients deserve.
Warnervale GP Superclinic operates as a mixed billing practice, with each doctor independently setting their own fee schedule.
The full consultation fee is payable at the time of your appointment. After your consultation, we will submit your Medicare claim on your behalf. Please ensure that Medicare has your correct bank account details to receive your rebate promptly.
We understand that many patients have faced financial challenges in recent years due to COVID-19. If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please speak confidentially with our Practice Manager.
